Bernardo Oldak is originally from Mexico City, where he completed his medical degree, before earning a master's degree in Dr. Ana Flisser's Lab, focusing on immunomodulation by Helminths in inflammatory bowel disease. Afterwards, he moved to the Weizmann Institute to pursue a Ph.D. under Prof. Jacob Hanna, exploring pluripotency and novel approaches to studying mammalian development. Next, he started a post-doctorate fellowship with Jacob Hanna, continuing his research as a Reacher fellow, pursuing the optimization of human embryo models.
